Blake Hansen practices in matters of business law, corporate law, school law, health law and employment law.
He was born in Stamford, Texas in 1949 and holds a B.B.A. and J.D. from Texas Tech University. He became licensed to practice in Texas in 1975, and is also licensed in the U.S. District Court - Western and Northern Districts, and 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Blake has been with the firm since 1979 and has played an active role in the Council of School Attorneys of the Texas Association of School Boards and was its Chairman in 1997-1998. He is also a Board member and past Chairman of the School Law Section of the State Bar.
Prior to joining the law firm, Blake was an Assistant District Attorney for Midland County, Texas, and in 1978, he was appointed County Judge of Midland County.
Blake is very active in the United Way and other civic organizations in Odessa and enjoys snow skiing, bird hunting and aerobics. He and his wife, Fannie, have four children - Lauren, Eric, Lynde, and Adam.
